Regina Daniels’ brother released on bail after several days in detention
After several days in custody, Sammy, the brother of Nigerian actress Regina Daniels, was released on bail.
The younger brother of Nigerian actress Regina Daniels, Sammy, regained his freedom on Monday, November 10, 2025, after being released on bail set at five million naira. He had spent several days behind bars following his arrest in Lagos.
According to Daily Post, Sammy was placed in pretrial detention by a magistrate’s court in Dutse before being successively transferred to Keffi Prison and then Suleja. On Instagram, his older brother, known by the handle @Sweezzy1, celebrated the release in a story: “Sammy, you’re a great man. Bail has been granted! Thank you to Nigerians.”
For context, Sammy’s arrest reportedly followed a complaint filed by Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ ex-husband, amid their recently highly publicized split.
