Apoutchou National, beyond being a figure in the Ivorian Showbiz, is also a philanthropist who officially opened the doors of his foundation on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Abidjan.

The controversial Ivorian influencer and singer Stéphane Agbré, better known by his professional pseudonym, Apoutchou National, has realized one of his biggest dreams last week. Aiming to offer even more support to vulnerable people, the son of actress Brigitte Bleu Agbré officially opened his foundation, named “AP Foundation,” on Friday, April 5, 2024.

He shared the news through the publication of images from the ceremony, followed by a lengthy and touching post on his Facebook page.

My stance and positions are followed by many fans who are baramôgôs, researchers, hustlers, street children, young people thirsty for success in life and who just need to be motivated. It’s precisely to support and bring my support to the youth of this brave continent full of future promises, and having myself gone through hardships at one point in life, that I decided to share what little I earn with my little brothers and sisters of the street. These are the ones we see at our traffic lights, late at night, pointed at, denigrated, treated as beggars, drug addicts, and bandits. Yet the streets do not give birth, so where do these children come from? Therefore, I have decided to contribute alongside the State to promote zero street children by 2030. This is the very goal of my foundation,” explained Apoutchou National.

He continued by giving a brief overview of the foundation’s achievements: “To date, we have provided more than 100 driving licenses to street youth in our database and hope to increase this during the 2024-2025 period, in addition to donations of food and non-food items. My work is to give a smile, strength, courage, and hope to these many street youth, these children who believe in me.
