In tears in a video posted on Instagram, Nigerian actress Regina Daniels said she is going through an emotionally trying time, amid family tensions and her brother’s prolonged detention.
Nigerian actress Regina Daniels moved her fans after posting a heartbreaking video on Instagram, in which she appears in tears and says she’s going through an especially difficult time emotionally and within her family.
In her story posted Friday, the Nollywood star let her distress show. “I give up. I’ve tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, losing my mind… I’m really crying in front of everyone,” she said. This outburst comes the day after what had been a happy moment for the actress, who had celebrated her parents’ reconciliation after years of estrangement. “Two sworn enemies who come together with no other thought than their daughter’s happiness ,” she had written Thursday on her social networks.
According to Regina Daniels, her parents are currently in Abuja, where they are working together to obtain the release of her brother, Sammy, who has been detained for several days under still unclear circumstances. ” Sammy’s detention has gone on for far too long, but we will get him released, even if I have to go there myself and cause a scandal! Since they want me!,” she said angrily.
