Nigerian actress Regina Daniels made headlines again by sharing explosive revelations about her ex-husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In a post published Sunday on Instagram, she said their union never had any legal standing, while denouncing behavior she describes as manipulative and forced isolation.
Admitting to having used drugs, the Nollywood star clarified that the real conflict wasn’t about that, but about her ex-husband’s alleged desire to push her away from her loved ones. “As soon as we argued, you rushed out in public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs’, because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media, dramatic enough to divert everyone’s attention from the real problem!” , she wrote.
Regina Daniels also says Nwoko confiscated her phones for weeks, confined her to a room and labeled her mentally unstable whenever she tried to pull away. According to her, the aim was to make her dependent and isolated, forcing her to return to him.
