Club World Cup: Drogba savors Chelsea’s coronation
Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, has reacted to the Blues’ Club World Cup final victory on Sunday against Paris Saint-Germain.

Unexpectedly reaching this stage, Chelsea nonetheless walks away with the Club World Cup trophy. The London club claimed the title following their victory over PSG on Sunday night. The Blues triumphed 3-0 against the Parisians in the United States, thanks to first-half goals by Cole Palmer, who scored a brace, and João Pedro.
A high-flying performance that allows Enzo Maresca’s men to lift the prestigious global trophy for the first time in this new format.
On his Instagram account, Didier Drogba, a true icon of Stamford Bridge, did not hide his pride: “We have made history, we won it [the Club World Cup]. The world is blue,” the former Ivorian international wrote in the caption of a photo of the players holding up the trophy.
Following this resounding success, Chelsea will now turn to their summer preparation, with the start of the new Premier League season in sight. The Blues will face Bayer Leverkusen in a friendly match on August 8th at Stamford Bridge.
