United States: Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs given his release date
American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, sentenced to 50 months in prison for interstate prostitution-related charges, is expected to be released on May 8, 2028.

American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently incarcerated, now knows the date of his release. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the artist is set to be released from custody on May 8, 2028, after serving part of his sentence. Sentenced to 50 months in prison on two counts related to interstate prostitution, Diddy was arrested in September 2024 in New York following an indictment by a federal grand jury.
The verdict, handed down three weeks ago, marks another stage in the legal troubles of the 55-year-old producer and businessman, a major figure in American hip-hop in the 1990s and 2000s. The rapper has been held since his arrest and is therefore expected to remain behind bars for a little over two and a half more years, barring any sentence reduction.
