Nigeria, a West African country on the Gulf of Guinea, has a large number of reserves and natural sites. Protected areas such as Cross River National Park and Yankari National Park feature waterfalls, dense tropical forests, savannas, and habitats home to rare primates. One of the most notable sites is Zuma Rock, a 725-meter-tall monolith just outside the capital Abuja. It is depicted on the country’s currency.
