Since his departure from Anfield, Klopp has held the post of football director within the Red Bull group. A strategic role that did not seem to steer him toward an immediate return as head coach. But two exceptional projects could persuade him to change his mind: Real Madrid and the German national team.
From the Real Madrid side, the situation has been open since the firing of Xabi Alonso, decided last Monday after the 3-2 defeat conceded to FC Barcelona in the final of the Spanish Super Cup. In the meantime, Álvaro Arbeloa is serving as interim on the Madrid bench.
