Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo considered retiring from international duty after the 2026 World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo acknowledged that he seriously considered ending his international career after the 2026 World Cup. The captain of Portugal, who continues to perform at the highest level with Al-Nassr, changed his mind after discussions with the team’s management. “ I thought about retiring from international football after the World Cup ,” said the Portuguese forward.
