La Liga: 3 straight braces for Lamine Yamal as Barça stay perfect
Lamine Yamal scored twice again in FC Barcelona's 4-2 victory over Levante. Barça has achieved five wins in five La Liga matches.

FC Barcelona defeated Levante 4-2 on Sunday, September 13, in Valencia, maintaining their perfect record in La Liga. Lamine Yamal netted another double, his third in as many league matches.
Barcelona took control early in the match. Xavi Espart opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Yamal doubled the lead in the 19th. The Spanish forward then converted a penalty less than a minute after the restart, extending the Catalan advantage to 3-0.
Levante sparked a late comeback with two goals from Ivan Romero and Roger Brugué, but Karim Adeyemi sealed the victory for Barcelona in stoppage time. This win gives Barça five victories in five matches, putting them three points ahead of Real Madrid.
Yamal thus confirms his spectacular start to the season with three consecutive doubles in La Liga. Just days earlier, Hansi Flick had named him among the leading candidates for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
The Catalan club also recorded their sixth consecutive victory across all competitions ahead of their upcoming European fixtures.
