Claudia Melody has reached a significant milestone in her career. The Ivorian artist unveiled her debut album, “Guela Seka Da,” on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Cocody. This project features nine tracks designed as a musical narrative centered on perseverance, faith, and her Wê roots.

Sung in both French and Wê, the album blends personal reflections with messages of encouragement. It includes tracks such as “Zignon,” “Guela Seka Da,” “Mon Espoir,” “Malouka,” “Ma Son Pohi,” “Trahison,” “Mamanko,” “Tu étais là,” and “Baisse pas les bras.”

The project, released in July, carries a deeply personal touch. Claudia Melody reflects on the challenges that have marked her journey and asserts a balance between the cultural heritage of Guémon and contemporary sounds. The arrangements were notably handled by Serge Oué Productions, Diapason Beat, and Honoré Kakou.

This release continues the musical comeback that began in the spring. The platform Amazon Music lists “TRAHISON” as of April 25, 2026, under the label Melody Productions, while “Guela Seka Da” appears in its 2026 discography with nine tracks.

Born Sohou Dablemou Marie-Claude, Claudia Melody began singing as a child in an evangelical choir before training for the stage. She joined a music academy associated with the Ivorian television orchestra in 2005 and then the INSAAC conservatory in 2006.

Claudia Melody’s public discography also showcases her rise: Amazon Music lists “Mamanko” and “Mon espoir” among her earlier tracks, “TRAHISON” as of April 25, 2026, and the album “Guela Seka Da” in its 2026 releases.
