Accra Food Festival: Place 100 Park transforms into an open-air dining experience

In Accra, the weekend can be enjoyed as an extended culinary break rather than a race from one address to another. The Accra Food Festival opens this Saturday, September 19, at Place 100 Park in Ridge, bringing together food, drinks, entertainment, and outdoor spaces designed for both leisurely enjoyment and dining.

The event continues until Monday, September 21, on Independence Avenue. The program announced by AccraPremium combines culinary offerings, beverages, lifestyle experiences, and entertainment in a single outdoor space. The idea is to transition from one experience to another throughout the day, without being confined to the traditional restaurant format.

Place 100 Park gives the festival an urban outing dimension as well as a gastronomic one. Organizers highlight the outdoor spaces and the opportunity to discover multiple brands on-site, with arrangements designed for dining, exploring, and socializing with friends or family.

AccraPremium is already familiar with this venue. The organization states it has been active in the restaurant and hospitality sector in Ghana since 2012 and claims to have showcased over 100 large and small brands through its events. The Accra Food Festival is among its recurring events.

For this edition, the announced hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. The ticket is valid for the selected day, allowing attendees to choose Saturday, Sunday, or Monday without needing to purchase a pass for all three days.

Entry is priced at 50 Ghanaian cedis per day. Children under five years old and seniors aged 60 and over are admitted free of charge, according to ticketing information released for the 2026 edition.
