“They treated me like a dog,” Osimhen settles his scores with Napoli.
On the eve of a European clash with Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen spoke bluntly about the end of his Napoli adventure, denouncing a treatment he deems undignified.

Victor Osimhen did not mince his words. Interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Super Eagles forward spoke about his tense relationship with SSC Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, and the circumstances of his departure. The current Galatasaray striker says there was a verbal agreement that would have allowed him to leave Naples the summer after Napoli won the Serie A title. « We had a verbal agreement that I could leave the summer after, but the other party did not fully honor that commitment », he revealed.
The Nigerian also refers to a period of strong tensions, notably marked by the posting of a controversial video on TikTok after a missed penalty against Bologna. « They tried to send me everywhere, they treated me like a dog. Go here, go there, do this, do that », he said. Before adding: « I have worked so hard for my career, I could not accept such treatment. I am not a puppet. »
Strong words, pronounced on the eve of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg that Galatasaray will play on Tuesday. A media outburst that confirms that the rupture between Osimhen and Napoli remains deeply marked by bitterness.
