Talented Ivorian artist Josey is back on the music scene with her new album titled “Universal Vibration.” This highly anticipated record, following her previous album “Cocktail,” is set to launch on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

The album, “Universal Vibration,” will be available starting this Friday, April 26. It can be accessed on all legal music platforms and will also be sold in USB format. For distribution, Josey has chosen Believe and the publishing house Keyzit Côte d’Ivoire. However, devoted fans will have the opportunity to hear the 13 tracks of the album in a pre-launch event scheduled for Thursday, April 25, at 8 PM, at the Yelam’s on Avenue 16 in Treichville.

In anticipation of this launch event, Josey presented her new album, produced in collaboration with her partner, former Ivorian international footballer Serey Dié, at a press conference held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Yelam’s. She unveiled the details of this carefully crafted musical work, consistent with the quality she offers her fans. During the listening of two tracks, “Reach for the Moon” and “Let Everything Go,” the audience was visibly moved and captivated. It is certain that the other tracks will also charm music lovers.

During the conference, she also discussed why she named her album “Universal Vibration.” “I called my album ‘Universal Vibration’ because I realized humbly that most of my songs have therapeutic virtues. For example, ‘Hope’ healed someone of cancer. Many people have also been boosted. I’ve noticed that many of my songs are terms in which many people find themselves. There’s ‘Accelerate.’ When you talk about vibration, you’re talking about waves, and I emit a strong vibration, a positive wave. The universal aspect is so that everyone can find something in my songs, whether they are Muslim or Christian or not, whether they speak French or not, and English or not. It’s about different cultures coming together,” she explained.

It is worth noting that Josey’s latest musical “baby” after “Cocktail,” shows remarkable diversity by exploring genres such as Zouk, Afro-Beat, Kompa, folklore, and Mandingo, all under the central theme of love. Josey collaborated with renowned arrangers such as JR (official producer for Schama Productions), Bebi Philip, and Akaché, with mixing and mastering entrusted to Scotty. The album includes collaborations with famous artists such as Innoss’B, Hiro, Shan’L, Didi B, and Mary Jo.

Additionally, a major international tour is announced, starting with a concert at the Casino de Paris on May 10 to promote “Universal Vibration.” This tour will also include performances for fans in the country and the sub-region soon.
