February 2026 FIFA window: the Amazones squad to face Ivory Coast and Kenya.
On the occasion of the February 2026 FIFA window, Benin’s Amazones are set to play two prestigious friendly matches in Abidjan against Ivory Coast and Kenya. The list of players called up for these fixtures has been released.
SUMMARY
The Benin women’s national team will take advantage of the February window to fine-tune its preparation with two prestigious friendly matches on Ivorian soil. The Amazones will face Ivory Coast on February 28, then Kenya on March 2, at the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
For this double confrontation, the Beninese coach has named an expanded squad of 25 players. Ten of them play abroad, evidence of the staff’s willingness to rely on the experience of expatriates while maintaining the local core.
The list unveiled on Wednesday blends regular stalwarts and new faces. Among the main newcomers are Floriane Adamon, who plays for Créteil in France, and Lorène Christopher, who also plays in France. A boost that testifies to the dynamism of the Beninese diaspora within the squad.
