CNSS: a new Board of Directors installed
The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) is embarking on a new dynamic. Nine administrators officially took office on Tuesday, July 2, 2025, following a swearing-in ceremony chaired in Cotonou by the Minister of Labor and Public Service, Adidjatou Mathys.

SUMMARY
This new Board of Directors, appointed for a renewable three-year term, embodies the principle of tripartite governance. It brings together representatives from the government, employers, and employees. This composition is designed to ensure a balance of voices in the strategic direction of the institution.
In her speech, the minister highlighted the importance of the role entrusted to the administrators: “In a context marked by digital transformation, changes in the labor market and growing expectations from insured persons, your mission is strategic,” she emphasized, calling for proactive and innovation-oriented governance.
The Council’s roadmap includes several major aspects: supporting structural reforms, improving the quality of services provided to the insured, modernizing management tools, and ensuring rigorous and transparent governance of CNSS resources.
At the forefront of expectations is the need to adapt the social protection system to demographic and economic changes, while meeting performance and expanded coverage requirements.
