Pop star Justin Bieber has hit back at rumors claiming he is broke.

In a statement released Wednesday by his team, the 31-year-old singer dismissed the reports as “clickbait nonsense.” Bieber said the alleged sources were people “disappointed they no longer work with Justin.”

The statement comes in response to a Hollywood Reporter article in which a former member of Bieber’s team claimed the artist was facing millions of dollars in debt. The controversy follows the cancellation of the Justice World Tour, which was postponed multiple times due to health issues.

The tour was originally set to begin in 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic, and again in 2022 after Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that caused facial paralysis. In March 2023, the American star officially announced the cancellation of the tour.
