Randal Kolo Muani underwent surgery on Monday in Turin after fracturing the little finger on his right hand during Juventus’ match against Atalanta. The procedure was successful, and the Italian club confirmed that the forward remains available for selection.
The Frenchman sustained the injury during the first half of the 2-0 victory for Juventus against Atalanta in Serie A. He continued to play with two fingers wrapped in a bandage.
Post-match examinations revealed a fracture of the proximal phalanx of the right little finger. Juventus stated that an osteosynthesis was necessary. The operation was performed at the J|medical center by surgeon Loris Pegoli.
Unlike several injuries that have recently affected the Turin squad, this procedure is not expected to result in any immediate unavailability for matches. The club’s medical statement confirms that Kolo Muani remains available for upcoming fixtures.
The 27-year-old forward has played six official matches for Juventus this season, contributing one goal and two assists. He is not included in the France squad for the current international window.
