Lumière FC crowned champions on penalties, ASOD retains its title

Lumière FC is the champion of Benin for 2026 in men’s mini-football after defeating Cefos FC in a penalty shootout. In the women’s final, ASOD triumphed over Victoria FC 2-0, successfully defending its national title.

The men’s final, held on Sunday, September 20, ended in a 3-3 draw after regulation time. The match was decided by penalties, where Lumière FC emerged victorious with a score of 3-2 against Cefos FC.

Lumière FC topped its group with 10 points and a goal difference of +7 before the final phase. The team notably defeated Cefos FC 4-1 on the fourth matchday.

In the women’s competition, ASOD secured a 2-0 victory over Victoria FC in the final. The defending champions added another title to their impressive record.
