LDC: Thierry Henry urges Arsenal to bounce back after the lost final against PSG.
Beaten by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, Arsenal can still be proud of its journey, according to Thierry Henry. The Gunners’ legend believes that this disappointment should serve as a springboard for a group set to return stronger on the European stage.

A legend of Arsenal, Thierry Henry wanted to send a message of support to the Gunners after their defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Saturday night in Budapest. Present in the stands of the Puskás Aréna, the former French striker witnessed the London team’s loss in a penalty shootout (1-1, 3-4 on penalties) against Luis Enrique’s side.
Asked on CBS Sports after the match, Henry urged his former club to learn from this failure rather than dwell on it. According to him, this setback should serve as a driver for Arsenal to reach a new level in the coming seasons. “Reaching a Champions League final against the best teams in Europe and fighting until the penalty shootout, while winning the Premier League, is a remarkable season for Arsenal,” said the former French international.
He added: “You just lost to a very great team. You pushed them to their limits. But failure can also help you grow. You must accept it, without dwelling on it. We will come back.” Despite the disappointment of this lost final, Henry’s words reflect the confidence surrounding a London group that is progressing and now ranks among the best European teams.
