Geneviève Brou has big plans for the tenth anniversary of the International Gathering of Worshippers (RIA). The Ivorian singer outlined, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Abidjan, the details of the tenth edition of this worship event, scheduled for November 22 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium.

According to CINEWS and La Plume de l’Aigle, who covered the press conference, the organizers announced a target attendance of 25,000 participants, including approximately 10,000 young people. The choice of the “Félicia” gives a new dimension to an event launched in 2017 and which has become, over successive editions, one of the most prominent gospel gatherings in Côte d’Ivoire.

“Everything is accomplished” for an anniversary edition

This 10th edition will be held under the theme “It is finished.” Geneviève Brou explains that this choice is meant to crown the journey since the first edition, after nine years of gatherings, worship concerts, and testimonies.

The singer was accompanied by her husband, the shepherd Christophe Brou, during the presentation of the program. “Pre-RIAs” are announced in several parishes before the main event, as well as online prayer sessions and segments called “I Anticipate the Dawn.”

For Geneviève Brou, the challenge is also symbolic: moving to the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium after editions held in smaller venues represents a step forward in the staging and visibility of the RIA. The artist, however, emphasizes the spiritual dimension of the gathering rather than just the attendance figures.

The organizers also announce the arrival of worshippers from several countries in Africa, Europe, and the United States. The detailed artistic program has not yet been fully revealed, but the press conference concluded with a performance by Geneviève Brou, singing the hymn “Who Is Like You.”

A little over two months before the event, RIA 10 is establishing itself as one of the major gospel events announced for the end of the year in Abidjan. The challenge will now be to turn the stated ambition into a strong turnout at Félicia on November 22.
