Burglary in Hêvié Houinmin: two suspects arrested, one fence on the run
A burglary that occurred on Friday, July 18, 2025, in the locality of Hêvié Houinmin led to the arrest of two individuals and the initiation of a broad investigation. On that day, criminals forced the door of a laborer’s home to steal various household appliances and personal belongings.
Informed of the events, the victim reported to the local police station. The quick response of law enforcement allowed for the immediate start of an investigation. Under the leadership of the commissioner, the investigations identified two major suspects who were apprehended.
Searches carried out in their respective homes, as well as in the shop of a suspected fence, led to the discovery of several suspicious items. Among them: three motorcycles of dubious origin, mobile phones, household appliances, and part of the loot recently stolen from the victim’s home.
The fence, for his part, has fled. He is currently actively sought by authorities, who wish to question him about the origin and illegal possession of the many items found in his shop. The investigation continues.
