Bohicon: two people arrested in the act of selling a stolen tricycle
In Bohicon, in the Zou department, a police operation led to the arrest of two individuals involved in the sale of a stolen tricycle, our colleagues at Le Matinal report.

The events took place recently in a neighborhood of the city, where the two men were trying to offer the motorized vehicle for sale, which is known for its high demand in the informal market.
Alerted by information from the population, members of the Research and Intervention Brigade set up covert surveillance before surprising the suspects in the middle of the transaction. Arrested in the act, they were taken to the police station for questioning.
The tricycle, a popular means of transport in urban and peri-urban areas, was returned to its rightful owner after law enforcement verified the owner’s identity. Investigators are now working to determine whether these two people are part of a larger network specialized in the theft and resale of stolen vehicles.
The Republican Police of Bohicon calls on citizens to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or any attempt to sell vehicles whose origin is not clearly established.
