Benin – Praouda Case: the TikToker Alain Kenneth released after his court appearance
The artist Praouda passed away on December 26, 2024. TikTok has become a court accusing his wife of killing him while revealing audios from their domestic disputes.
Summoned, the TikToker Alain Kenneth who was the protagonist of the TikTok lives has been presented to the court.
Contacted by phone by BENIN WEB TV, the TikToker Alain Kenneth Adjodohoun confirmed his presence at the court this Thursday, June 26, 2025 for the Praouda case. However, he reassured that he is free to move after the hearing and the case is dismissed.
As a reminder, the singer Praouda is no more. The artist passed away in the early morning of this Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Hubert Koutoukou Maga National Hospital and University Center (CNHU-HKM) in Cotonou.
Earlier on Monday, December 23, Praouda had suffered a stroke and was urgently hospitalized in a Minnonti’s zone hospital in Cotonou.
However, his health deteriorated on Wednesday and he was transferred to the Hubert Koutoukou Maga National Hospital and University Centre (CNHU-HKM) in Cotonou where he passed away.
Praouda was one of the most popular artists in Benin. He marked the national music scene with his song Ati Wè Ado Mia, in which he praised his lover.
