War in Iran: «The world is very lucky to have Donald Trump as a leader», Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed a ‘decisive’ leadership from U.S. President Donald Trump, saying that the United States has regained its global standing, while justifying the recent strike against Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised, on Monday, the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump, which he described as a ‘decisive’ leader, saying that the world was ‘lucky’ to have him at the helm of the United States. In a speech devoted to the recent tensions with Iran, Netanyahu stated that there had ‘never been a president like Donald J. Trump’, highlighting his determination, strategic clarity, and ability to act without hesitating. According to him, the occupant of the White House ‘gets straight to the point’ and focuses on the measures he deems necessary.
The Israeli prime minister said that Israel, but also the countries he calls the ‘free world’, benefited from this leadership, attributing to Donald Trump the credit for restoring the United States’ international standing. ‘We are very lucky to have him as the leader of the free world, and even as the leader of the world. He has brought America back to its role as a global leader’, he said.
Looking back at the recent strike against Iran, Benjamin Netanyahu justified the operation by accusing Tehran of maintaining, for decades, a constant hostility toward Washington. He spoke of persistent anti-American rhetoric and blamed the Iranian regime for involvement in attacks against American diplomatic representations as well as in plots targeting American officials. The Israeli prime minister finally described Iran as a regime ‘sowing terror on a global scale’ and determined, according to him, to weaken the United States.
