UFOA-B U20 Cup 2025: list of Amazons called up
As the second edition of the UFOA-B Women’s U20 Cup approaches, scheduled from November 7 to 17 in Porto-Novo, coach Abdoulaye Ouzérou has published the list of 24 players called up to represent Benin at the regional competition.

The Benin Football Federation (FBF) released on Wednesday evening the list of 24 players selected for the U20 Amazons’ preparatory camp ahead of the 2025 UFOA-B Women’s U20 Cup. This tournament, which will take place in Porto-Novo from November 7 to 17, will bring together four nations: Benin, Ghana, Niger and Nigeria.
The squad called up stands out for a skilful mix of young local talents and players competing abroad, such as Naïlatou Sadikou (SC Freiburg, Germany) and Germaine Honfo (AMLFF, Morocco). It also includes key players from Beninese clubs such as UMSA, AS Lagarde, AS JFA and Dynamique FC. The Amazons’ regrouping will begin on November 1 in Missérété, where the team will start an intensive preparation phase before competing at home.
As a reminder, the first edition of the competition, held in 2023, was won by Ghana, the clear favorite to repeat. The Benin, for its part, hopes this time to take advantage of home-field advantage to shine in front of its fans and aim for a podium finish.
