Victor Osimhen has reportedly become one of Real Madrid’s priorities ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Soccernet. Currently on loan to Galatasaray SK, the Nigerian striker is drawing interest from Europe’s biggest clubs after another convincing season. At the same time, José Mourinho is being strongly tipped to take the helm at Real Madrid in the coming weeks. The Portuguese coach has already identified Osimhen as the ideal profile to strengthen the Madrid attack.

José Mourinho has long appreciated the Nigerian international’s qualities. The two men have faced each other several times in Serie A when the striker played for SSC Napoli and Mourinho was in charge of AS Roma. The former Chelsea FC manager has already lauded Osimhen in the past, going as far as to compare him to Didier Drogba, the iconic striker he brought to the Blues in the mid-2000s.
