Transfer market: Ghanaian ace Antoine Semenyo sends the Premier League into a frenzy
Courted by several English giants, Bournemouth’s striker could see his release clause activated in January, reigniting a battle already fiercely contested over his future.

In January, Antoine Semenyo could shake up the winter market. Several Premier League heavyweights are ready to trigger the release clause of Bournemouth’s Ghanaian forward, set at £60 million, with a possible £5 million in add-ons, according to Sky Sports.
This clause, included in the five-year contract Semenyo signed last summer, will only be valid during a specific period of the winter transfer window. Before extending with the Cherries, the former Bristol City player had already attracted interest from many clubs. And the competition promises to be fierce: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are considering trying their luck next year.
Having scored six goals in the Premier League this season, Semenyo continues to grow in stature. Meanwhile, Bristol City — who sold him in January 2023 for around £10 million — should receive 20% of the profit made on the transfer of the 25-year-old Ghanaian international.
