In an official statement, the Madrid club said that the examinations carried out by the medical staff had confirmed the nature of the injury. The tests conducted today on our player Fede Valverde by Real Madrid’s medical services have revealed a head injury, the statement said.
The Spanish club also reassured about the player’s health. “Valverde has gone home and is doing well. He will, however, need to observe a rest period estimated at ten to fourteen days, in accordance with the medical protocols related to this type of diagnosis.” According to several Spanish outlets, this injury would have occurred after a collision during a training session involving Aurélien Tchouaméni.
