Prince George, 13, starts his first term at Eton following in the footsteps of William and Harry

Prince George reached a new and highly symbolic milestone on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Aged 13, the eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton made his first day at Eton College, the prestigious British boarding school located near Windsor, accompanied by his parents.

According to Reuters, the young prince, second in line to the throne after his father, was welcomed upon his arrival by the head of the institution, Simon Henderson. This start of term marks his first experience in a boarding school after several years spent at Lambrook School with his sister Charlotte and his brother Louis.
