Philippe Coutinho will continue his career in Brazil. Free since his departure from Vasco da Gama, the Brazilian international has reached an agreement with Santos to join the club until the end of the current season. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 34-year-old player will sign as a free agent. He is set to undergo his medical examination this Thursday at Santos before finalizing his arrival.

This signing will primarily allow Coutinho to reunite with Neymar, with whom he has a long-standing friendship. The two players could thus share the same locker room again under the colors of the Brazilian club. Trained at Vasco da Gama, Coutinho has had a rich career in Europe. He has notably worn the jerseys of Inter Milan, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Aston Villa, before returning to his home country in recent years.
