Didi B has won the “Francophone Viewers Choice Award” at the AFRIMMA 2026, held on September 12 in Dallas, Texas. The official winners list places the Ivorian rapper among the 41 artists and personalities honored this year.

This trophy reflects the choice of the Francophone audience. It is distinct from the “Best Male West Africa” award, which went to Nigerian artist Ruger, and the “Best Francophone” award, won by Congolese artist Innoss’B. The official rankings clearly differentiate these three categories.

Didi B was also nominated for the “Best Male West Africa” category, competing against notable artists such as Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, Asake, Black Sherif, and Ruger. Ultimately, his accolade came from the “Francophone Viewers Choice Award” category.

The AFRIMMA 2026 ceremony and festival took place at the Annette Strauss Square in Dallas. Didi B was also among the artists announced to perform at the Music Fest, alongside BNXN, Ruger, Victony, Kcee, Timaya, and Juma Jux.

The 2026 awards also recognized Fally Ipupa as “Artist of the Year”, Davido for “Album of the Year” with “5ive”, and BNXN with Sarz for “Song of the Year”. Tems won the “Best Female West Africa” award, while Ruger triumphed in the male West African category.

On the official results page, Didi B’s name appears as the 41st honor announced, under the title “Francophone Viewers Choice Award”. The results were published following the ceremony on September 12 in Dallas.
