Davido has revealed an unknown aspect of his relationship with Aliko Dangote. The Nigerian singer claims that the billionaire has maintained close ties with his family for several decades and has been providing him with financial advice since his childhood.
Afrobeat star Davido recently spoke in an interview about the special relationship that connects his family to Aliko Dangote, one of the most influential businessmen in Africa. According to the artist, this closeness dates back to his birth. He recounts that the billionaire had driven his mother home from the hospital after he was born. Since then, Dangote has continued to offer him advice on managing his wealth.
Davido assures that the businessman regularly advises him to be cautious with his money, despite the passing years. “ Every time I see him, he still tells me: ‘David, save your money.’ He has been telling me that since I was a baby ,” the singer revealed. According to him, Dangote’s advice has remained relevant throughout his professional journey in the entertainment industry.
He also indicated that Dangote was a close associate of his father, businessman Adedeji Adeleke, noting that the relationship between the two families had lasted for decades.
