UFOA B U20 Cup 2025 (W): Benin loses again to Ghana
Benin suffered a third consecutive defeat after their 0-2 loss to Ghana on Monday, in the group stage of the UFOA B U20 Women’s Cup 2025.

Benin’s U20 Amazons are still not finding their footing in this second edition of the UFOA B Cup. On Monday, November 10, at the Adjohoun multipurpose stadium, the players coached by Abdoulaye Ouzérou and Adam Adicatou suffered another defeat against Ghana’s Black Princesses (0-2), their third loss in as many matches.
The opening match scenario was repeated. Caught cold as early as the 4th minute, the Beninese players endured their opponents’ technical dominance. Despite a surge of pride and some encouraging passages of play, they conceded a second goal in added time (90+3), sealing another disappointment.
With zero goals scored and seven conceded in three matches, the assessment is harsh for a team looking for its bearings and confidence. The attack remains quiet, while the defense struggles to contain the opponents’ power.
Bottom of the table, Rachidatou Moumouni and her teammates will try to save face in their final outing scheduled for Wednesday, November 12 against Nigeria. A last chance to show a different side and finish the competition on a positive note.
