UCL: Emmanuel Macron predicts the PSG-Bayern clash
During a trip to Andorra, Emmanuel Macron offered his prediction for the Champions League semi-final between PSG and Bayern Munich. Despite his attachment to OM, the head of state is backing a Parisian victory and also expresses his confidence in the Blues ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

While on a trip to Andorra, Emmanuel Macron indulged in the game of predictions before students. When asked about the outcome of the match, the President of the Republic expressed his confidence in the capital club, despite his openly stated attachment to Olympique de Marseille. « I am an OM supporter, but tonight, it’s Paris that plays », he explained, before announcing a Parisian victory. According to him, the capital’s men have the arguments to prevail against the Bavarian giant, with a projected score of 3-1.
However aware of the uncertainty inherent in the competition, the head of state recalled that nothing is ever guaranteed in the Champions League, while praising the quality of the Parisian squad. In the wake, Emmanuel Macron also looked beyond the European stage, talking about France’s ambitions for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
