Toyin Abraham transforms ‘Bestie Jesu’ into a praise concert

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham invites her fans to join her on Saturday, September 19, 2026, for “Bestie Jesu,” a concert dedicated to praise and fellowship. Access requires prior registration, with only one participant allowed per code.

The filmmaker opened registrations on Tuesday, September 15, via her Instagram account. She describes the event as a time for celebration, prayer, and conversations with her loved ones, colleagues, and audience.

“Bestie Jesu” takes its name from the nickname Toyin Abraham publicly adopted earlier this year. This time, the concept moves from social media to become a praise event that requires individual registration.

The concert also coincides with the promotion of her upcoming feature film, Bestie, which is set to hit Nigerian theaters on December 16. The actress began revealing the cast on September 14, introducing Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi.

To announce this project, Toyin Abraham recalled several of her previous films, including Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper, Malaika, Alakada: Bad and Boujee, and Oversabi Aunty. The concert adds a public dimension to this promotional sequence.
