Cameroon: CFAF370 billion in projects for 14,267 jobs
Six private-sector projects listed by the Investment Promotion Agency total CFAF370.3 billion. Metallurgy accounts for more than 95% of the capital and nearly 90% of the projected jobs.

Six private-sector projects in Cameroon represent CFAF370.3 billion in planned investment and 14,267 projected jobs, according to data released by the Investment Promotion Agency in September 2026.
Metallurgy accounts for most of the package. Three projects in the sector total CFAF353.5 billion, more than 95% of the overall amount, and 12,850 projected jobs, nearly 90% of the announced recruitment.
Cameroon Steel Manufacturing Company is behind the largest project, with CFAF247.5 billion in planned investment and nearly 8,500 jobs. The project alone represents about two thirds of the capital covered by the six projects.
Complexe Multi Industriel du Cameroun plans a further CFAF100 billion investment and 4,050 jobs. AZA Manufacturing has a CFAF6 billion project expected to create about 300 jobs.
The 6 agreements also include projects in tourism, leisure and other manufacturing activities, according to data released on the investment portfolio.
