DJ Ramatoulaye is set to take the stage this Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan for his tenth one-man show, titled “2 Tenues.” This event comes just nine days after the Ivorian comedian himself announced the death of his older sister.

Ramatoulaye shared the news on his social media on September 10, without detailing the circumstances surrounding her passing. Nevertheless, the show remains scheduled for this Saturday: the ShowBook Africa agenda and the Tikeha platform still list it at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan, with tickets priced starting at 10,000 FCFA.

Presented earlier this month in Abidjan, “2 Tenues” is expected to last approximately one and a half hours. The director has announced a three-part structure focusing on the artist’s journey: what he was, what he has become, and the future he envisions for his career. A second segment will emphasize African unity, featuring the participation of comedians from Burkina Faso, Gabon, Mali, Chad, and Cameroon, alongside Ivorian artists.

The show will also reflect on a more personal recent period in Ramatoulaye’s life. The artist has expressed his desire to transform several episodes of his journey into a theatrical performance, presenting this show as a return to the public eye.

The evening will also serve as a platform for the presentation of “De la MACA à la MAKKA”, a novel written by Mamadou Gueu Dia Jonathan and inspired by the comedian’s life. The book was announced for a signing event alongside the show on September 19.

“2 Tenues” is scheduled for this Saturday at 7:00 pm at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan. The agenda platforms consulted this morning confirm the event, with tickets available starting at 10,000 FCFA.
