Nigeria: KC Luxury charged and detained in 184.5 kg cocaine case
Influencer KC Luxury and two other suspects have been charged in Lagos over the 184.5 kg cocaine intended for the United Kingdom.
Nigerian influencer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, known as KC Luxury, was charged on Friday, September 25, 2026, before the Federal High Court in Lagos along with two other suspects in a case involving 184.5 kg of cocaine.
The NDLEA presented KC Luxury, Boniface Freeman Ochoche Sule, and Ikechukwu Ekugo Patriarch to the judge on 22 counts, including conspiracy, cocaine trafficking, attempted exportation of narcotics, and money laundering.
The three men pleaded not guilty. The court ordered their detention at NDLEA facilities pending a decision on their bail applications, which is scheduled for October 4.
According to the Nigerian drug agency, the case involves an alleged attempt to export 184.5 kg of cocaine to the United Kingdom between late July and early August 2026. The drugs were reportedly concealed in five packages shipped from Lagos.
KC Luxury was arrested on August 13 at Murtala Muhammed International Airport while preparing to leave Nigeria. The charges will now be examined by the judiciary.
