Ghana: $1.3 billion complex takes shape near Accra airport
Sentuo Airport Garden City will combine housing, a hotel, retail spaces, healthcare services, gardens, and a 2,500-seat conference center in Accra. The developer has announced a completion date in 2029.

A real estate complex valued at $1.3 billion is set to be officially launched on Tuesday, September 15, near Kotoka International Airport in Accra. Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama is expected to attend the launch ceremony of Sentuo Airport Garden City, scheduled for 2:00 pm at the project site.
The program, located at 10 Giffard Road in the Airport Residential Area, will feature apartments, a hotel, retail spaces, healthcare services, gardens, and recreational facilities. Plans also include a conference center capable of accommodating 2,500 people.
The Sentuo Real Estate website currently presents the project as under construction, with the main structure underway, and announces a completion date in 2029. The residential component includes two towers surrounded by landscaped areas and shared amenities.
The developer estimates that the construction will create demand for engineers, craftsmen, technicians, and material suppliers. The operation of the hotel, conference center, and commercial spaces could subsequently support jobs in hospitality, catering, transportation, and property management, although no specific employment targets have been announced.
Sentuo Group has been active in Ghana since 2008 and employs over 4,500 people across six sectors. The group is also engaged in a $2 billion investment in refining, according to information published on its real estate subsidiary’s website.
