Her presence in Missouri kept her away from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where the 78th Emmy Awards were taking place at the same time. Her concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour — The Final Show,” was among the nominated productions this year, including in the category for Outstanding Pre-Recorded Variety Special.

However, the awards for the film had already been presented at the Creative Arts Emmys, held prior to the televised ceremony on September 14. In the main category in which it competed, the trophy went to “The Muppet Show.”

The outing at Arrowhead marked Taylor Swift’s first appearance at a Chiefs game since her marriage to Travis Kelce, celebrated on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Tom Cruise was among the guests at the ceremony, according to the Associated Press and People.

The singer has regularly attended games in Kansas City since she began dating the player in 2023. Her appearances have often drawn family and celebrity guests to the family box, but this game marked her first public outing at the stadium since their marriage.

The match kicked off Travis Kelce’s fourteenth season in the NFL. At 36 years old, the tight end recently dismissed the idea of immediate retirement, stating he wants to continue his career as long as he feels capable of performing at the highest level.

Against the Broncos, Kelce made a notable play with a 59-yard run after a pass from Patrick Mahomes. People notes that this is his longest gain since 2021, celebrated by Taylor Swift and her brother Jason Kelce in the stands.
