Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcome their second daughter

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced the birth of their second daughter on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The Bollywood couple has not revealed either her name or her face.

The news was shared in a joint post on Instagram. Accompanied by a card featuring a baby footprint, the two actors simply wrote “Welcome Baby Girl,” along with the date of September 19 and the signatures of Dua, Deepika, and Ranveer.

The mention of Dua connects their eldest daughter to the announcement. Born on September 8, 2024, she has just celebrated her second birthday. With this second birth, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now parents of two daughters.

The couple confirmed this new pregnancy on April 19, 2026. Their announcement featured Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. On September 8, the day of their daughter’s birthday, the actors also shared a series of black-and-white family portraits showcasing Deepika Padukone’s baby bump.

The birth comes a day after a family visit to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. The two stars had made a similar visit a few days before Dua’s birth in 2024.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were married in November 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. Their relationship began after they met on the set of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, which was released in 2013.
