Namibia

Namibia, a country in southwest Africa, is defined by the Namib Desert, which runs along the Atlantic coast. The country hosts a diverse array of wildlife and plants, including a significant population of cheetahs. The capital, Windhoek, and the coastal town of Swakopmund feature buildings from the German colonial era, such as Windhoek’s Christuskirche, built in 1907. To the north, the salt pan of Etosha National Park draws game, notably rhinos and giraffes.
