Charli XCX makes her debut on the cover of Playboy

The cover was unveiled on Wednesday, September 16. This marks Charli XCX’s first appearance on the cover of the American magazine. The issue is set to hit newsstands on September 29.

The photoshoot, conducted by Aidan Zamiri, took place in London, including on a boat on the Thames. The 34-year-old artist is seen in several black outfits, with iconic landmarks of the British capital in the background.

In the accompanying interview, Charli XCX answered questions from Kylie Jenner, her co-star in the film The Moment. She explained her desire to present an image that is both confident and vulnerable, moving away from a pursuit of perfection.

The singer also discussed her marriage to George Daniel, the drummer of The 1975. The couple married in 2025, following an engagement announced two years earlier. Charli XCX describes their relationship as relaxed, while highlighting her husband’s role in her personal confidence and musical work.

This cover comes as the artist continues her tour for her album Music, Fashion, Film. After two concerts in Brooklyn on September 14 and 15, she is set to continue her North American tour before several European dates planned for 2027.
