The American rapper Cardi B confirmed her separation from NFL player Stefon Diggs, amid a heated back-and-forth with her rival BIA.
The relationship between Cardi B and Stefon Diggs is now in the past. The New York artist officially announced their breakup this weekend, in response to a post by BIA on social media. The latter, at the heart of the speculation surrounding the couple, had mocked the NFL receiver: “Can you name someone who has more tackles than receiving yards? Me, yes! And I know it. You know what?”
During the “Little Miss Drama Tour,” Cardi B took to the stage at a Los Angeles concert to respond directly. Clearly irritated, she confirmed the separation and warned against any public attacks: “Listen to me carefully. Just because I’m not sleeping with the father of my child doesn’t give you the right to talk about him. You filthy bitch, this one’s for you.”
According to several American media outlets, the breakup would have occurred after accusations of infidelity aimed at the player. The Daily Post also notes that this separation comes only three months after the birth of their child, while the singer is still engaged in a divorce proceeding with her ex-husband, Offset. A new turbulent chapter in Cardi B’s personal life, which nevertheless continues to fill arenas across the United States.
