CAFS/UFOA B 2025 Qualifiers: School Cheetahs and Amazons confirmed
Benin now knows its opponents for the UFOA B 2025 qualifiers, with two strong groups where its school teams will have to face the title holders.
SUMMARY
The draw for the fourth edition of the zonal phase of the African School Football Championship, held this Friday, November 21 in Abidjan, has delivered its verdict. Six nations will once again take part in the tournament, in both the women’s and men’s categories. Benin, represented in both draws, has been placed in Group B alongside the title holders.
In the girls’ competition, the Beninese side will meet Ghana and Niger in a strong Group B, while Group A will bring together Burkina Faso, the host country, Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria. On the boys’ side, the School Cheetahs will play in a particularly packed Group B, alongside Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria. Group A, meanwhile, will see Burkina Faso, Ghana and Niger face off.
Scheduled from December 1 to 4 in Ouagadougou, the tournament promises to be closely contested. Benin, determined to take a step forward after its recent campaigns, will need to be solid from the start to hope to reach the final stages.
