AS Monaco: Paul Pogba heading towards a contract termination
The adventure of Paul Pogba at AS Monaco could already be coming to an end. Arriving as a free agent last summer, the French midfielder is said to be pushed towards the exit by the club from the Principality, which is looking to reach a financial agreement with the player.

Paul Pogba could already leave AS Monaco. According to Yahoo Sports, the club from the Principality is considering terminating the contract of the French midfielder, who arrived as a free agent last summer. Monaco’s management has reportedly informed the former Manchester United and Juventus player of their intention to part ways with him. The club is now looking to reach a financial agreement with the 2018 World Champion, particularly regarding the payment of wages that are still owed to him.
Having arrived on the Rock after serving his doping suspension, Pogba hoped to relaunch his career and gradually regain his best level. But his return to competition did not go as planned. The 33-year-old midfielder has been regularly hampered by physical problems during his first season with Monaco. Since returning to professional football, he has only played six matches, totaling 105 minutes of play.
This situation could therefore lead to a premature separation between Pogba and AS Monaco. The Ligue 1 club now wishes to quickly find common ground with the player in order to end their collaboration.
