ANIP: Six Data Steward positions available before September 25

The National Agency for the Identification of Persons (ANIP) is opening six Data Steward positions on fixed-term contracts in Agblangandan. Candidates have until Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:59 pm, Cotonou time, to submit their applications online.

The selected individuals will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of data from the Administrative Census for Population Identification (RAVIP). They will specifically need to compare digital entries with the supporting documents provided by citizens, identify anomalies, and document inconsistencies.

The role also involves correcting erroneous data based on original or certified documents, monitoring recurring errors, and producing reports on the quality of enrollment data. Data Stewards will also participate in establishing automated validation rules and improving control procedures.

The recruitment is open to candidates holding at least a Bac+3 in database management, statistics, business intelligence, data administration, or a related field. A prior experience, including an internship or apprenticeship, in data quality control, entry validation, or record management is required.

Proficiency in French is mandatory. Knowledge of one or more local languages of Benin, as well as English, is an advantage. ANIP also requires a good command of office tools and database management systems.

Applications must be submitted through the national public service portal, including a CV, a cover letter, references and requested certificates, as well as a criminal record, with documents transmitted in PDF format. The deadline remains set for Friday, September 25, at 11:59 pm.
