As Carlo Ancelotti is set to unveil his World Cup squad soon, Endrick has come to Neymar’s defense. The Olympique Lyonnais forward believes that the Santos star will fully devote himself to the Seleção if called up.

The Olympique Lyonnais forward, Endrick, has expressed his support for Neymar regarding a possible return to the Brazilian national team for the next World Cup. In an interview given to PLACAR magazine, the young Brazilian international spoke about the possibility of seeing the Santos FC star appear on the list that Carlo Ancelotti is set to unveil soon. For several weeks, one of the main questions around the Seleção has indeed concerned Neymar’s presence or not in the squad retained by the former Real Madrid coach.
Endrick, however, reminded that the final decision lies entirely with Ancelotti. «Neymar is an immense player and everyone knows the extent of his talent,» the young Brazilian forward said. «God bless him above all, then it will be up to Carlo Ancelotti to make his decision.» The 19-year-old also expressed his conviction that Neymar would be fully committed if he were to be retained with Brazil. «If he is called up to the national team, I am certain that he will give his all for the team, but also for all the members of the Brazilian Football Confederation.», he added.
