Against Elche, the Ivorian international, who has already scored three goals for the national team in 14 appearances, notably stood out by providing an assist. José Mourinho, the Madrid coach, also highlighted the young forward’s progress, emphasizing his activity and intelligence in the game.

Mbappé believes that the transfer fee should not become a burden for such a young player. “He is young, he is 19 years old, but the quality is definitely there. We can see it, and he has already proven that he has assets,” he insisted. The Frenchman thus calls for protecting Diomandé from the pressure related to his transfer. For him, the length of the season requires Real Madrid to be able to rely on its entire squad. A message that could allow the Ivorian to continue his learning process calmly within the Madrid dressing room.
